Amadeo Lorenzato: Earth and Echo

A road movie

“A palette scraped from the earth; a life carved by hand”

Amadeo Lorenzato is recognised as a true master, revered by the international art world today. We follow him, a curious and impoverished traveller at the beginning of the 20th century, crossing the long path from Italy to Turkey on a bicycle with a self-made coffin-shaped unit (his bed).

A docufiction road movie that follows his extraordinary journey from dual perspectives: the filmmaker’s own pilgrimage and Lorenzato's imagined, subjective revelations.
